first impressions

First Impressions are an important part of our daily lives  and set the tone for all that follows.   And it is the same with your home.  When you walk through the front door…your  entrance begins to tell the story of your home.  Your front foyer should be warm and welcoming and without  un-needed clutter.  So when I saw a friend’s front foyer, after a minimal redo I knew I had the beginning to my blog.  Her front foyer was previously very nondescript, but  WOW what a transformation and strong statement.  By just wall papering one wall and keeping the same paint color on the remaining walls, you can’t wait to see the rest of her home.

Flowers have a very powerful statement, blossoming in strong colors and eye catching patterns can bring any room to life.  It is important when decorating to step outside the traditional box and try something new and bold….you can transform each room in very unique ways.
